While the SMS reminder -- or alert, as it is known in the biz -- is one of great technologies of our time, I don't need one for formal Fridays.

No, Sir! By Wednesday I'm thinking of coordinating my tie and outfit to fashion the perfect ensemble.

By Thursday night, I've gotten the pieces ready to go; I'm hardly able to sleep.

Upon waking Friday morning, I'm excited as a little school girl.

No Sir! I don't need a reminder!

What's better than dressing up? Beating up those that don't dress up! I can't wait.

I dunno, you could see the sleek, ultramodern look fitting in well at molecular mixology joints like WD50. There's no doubt it jars with the old-time class of the nouveau speakeasy aesthetic, suspenders, shirtstays and, yes, pocket squares, but mosey up to the bar at a W Hotel, for example, and it might not look so out of place. As you suggest, time will tell, and I look forward to doing my own spot of market research should I find a place that pours it.
